Connection And Tracking
You must start recording with an internet connection. You do not need to maintain an internet connection throughout the flight but you do need to start with one.
Keep your phone on and the app open during the flight. Closing the app can disrupt the location connection.

What Type Of Training Flight Is This?
Maneuvers will be judged against the ACS standards for the training you pick.
Starting Altitude
Enter the elevation of the airport you are departing from. It's used to correct the phone's GPS altitude for the whole flight.
Select Your Aircraft
Select your aircraft for this flight and verify the associated v-speeds. These speeds will be used to judge against the applicable ACS standards.
